How to Get Recruited
1. Play in the MJHL
U Sports coaches actively scout MJHL games. Playing junior hockey is the most direct path to recruitment.
2. Maintain Good Grades
Canadian universities require competitive academics. Aim for 75%+ average to keep options open.
3. Contact Coaches Directly
Reach out to U Sports coaches with your stats, highlight video, and academic transcript. Show genuine interest.
4. Be Patient
U Sports recruitment often happens at ages 19-21, later than NCAA. Many players join after 2-3 years in junior.
