Off-season sanctioning check
Spring hockey is not automatically the same rule environment as winter minor hockey.
Many spring and summer private programs are not automatically Hockey Manitoba or Hockey Canada sanctioned. That does not make every option unsafe, but parents should confirm sanctioning, insurance, eligibility impact, officials, conduct rules, and tournament travel permits before paying or travelling.
